Watertown's Mike Davis had a big night in this June 1990 game, according to The Binghamton Press and Sun-Bulletin.

Davis picked up three hits, one of them a late, go-ahead triple, The Press and Sun-Bulletin wrote.

Davis had that outing in his second pro season. It also proved to be his last pro campaign. He topped out at short-season.

Davis' career began in 1989, taken by the Indians in the 22nd round of the draft out of the University of West Georgia. Davis was also credited as Michael Davis.

Davis started with the Indians at rookie Burlington. He saw 63 games and hit .274. He hit six home runs. He picked up one of those home runs in a June win, a late three-run shot.

He then moved to short-season Watertown. He had an RBI double in a June game. Overall, he saw 59 games an hit .252. That season marked the end of his career.
