Two Managers Remain

Tonight's card is John Russell, the second of four members of the CMC set, by my count, to manage a major league team at the start of 2010. He and Ron Washington are the only two left.

Trey Hillman was let go earlier this year and today the Mariners fired the other one, Don Wakamatsu. Hillman and Wakamatsu's profiles are to come.

Washington's came in March. But the firing has meant another CMC member's promotion.

Set member Carl Willis was promoted from minor league pitching coordinator to major league pitching coach.
